VISION AND MISSION OF BODHINI
One of the architects of Vatican II and a great Catholic theologian of the 20th century, Karl Rahner said: “the Christian of the future will be either a mystic or will not be a Christian at all.”* BODHINI as a Christian Carmelite Meditation Centre, aims to propagate the mystical and philosophical richness of the Biblical and Christian idea of Mindfulness- Meditation to pursue one’s mission, to live a higher quality of life in a pluralistic culture.
All our programmes are rooted in the Bible as well as consolidated with modern science, depicting Biblical doctrines of Mindfulness Meditation in scientific terms. The objective of the programmes is to help the persons not only to be aware of the self (i.e., cognitions and cognitive schemes) but also to foster a sense of person-environment connection (i.e., ecological mindfulness). This is done through giving Hands-On training. The Participants of all the courses have greatly appreciated the Programmes offered here as it has helped them to renew, refresh and rejuvenate themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually.
